HD Radio Portable designs are enhanced.

SiPort and Samsung, along with iBiquity Corporation (which is the developer of HD Digital Radio) announced the next generation of HD radio chips.

The new electronics will enable lower power HD Radio tuners and receivers to be designed. These will accelerate the rollout of mobile and portable HD radios and devices.

The new chipset is also allowing more lower-cost designs and more compact, higher performance car stereo radios as well as audio processing systems.

iBiquity has said that these these next generation, cutting edge technology chipsets, along with new software, is right now enabling  wider range of low cost, high performance radio receivers, all with new features.
